In New York - Miles Aldrige

If your in New York in June you have to stop by Steven Kasher Gallery to check out the Miles Aldrige exhibition, which is in conjunction with his new book 'Acid Candy'. I've fallen in love with his colors and set design which I think are totally rad.

The weekend

There is something about an endless vista that clears the mind and puts everything into
perspective. I hope you have a chance to find your quiet moment this weekend and if you find
yourself naked at the top of a big cliff with a doberman, well hell...you've probably had a better
weekend than most!

Show me the Forgotten Way

Our modern cameras may posses more bells & whistles than the first apollo spacecraft but when it comes to image quality they cant compete with the old medium format cameras. I've wanted one for years but wasn't about to attempted to resurrect an old beaut from the dregs of a dusty antique store shelf. Now my prayers have been answered....a company called Lomo has had the good sense to reproduce some old goodies that are as operational as they are cool....check'em out for yourselves!

Photographs by Cedric Bihr

Ethereal, transportting & dreamy are just a few words which attempt to describe photographer Cedric Bihr's work. His images move me....thank you Mr. Bihr. :)

Marilyn Minter Rocks!

Swirling tongues, licking creamy pastries and candies is just one of the images you will see in Marilyn Minter's new body of work titled, ‘Green Pink Caviar’.  Her recent show, at Salon 94 in New York,  left me awe-struck once again. Her work deals with the dirty side of glamour, excess, sex, fetishes & food...you know, all the good stuff ;)  ...but enough words, take a look for yourself and let me know what you think!

Isabel Bergland

Im smitten with these gorgeous hanging sculptures by Isabel Bergland. Who would think that the combinations of these simple materials would prove so intriguing. It makes me want to run to the nearest craft store and start stringing things together! For those of you whom simply coveting is not enough...a couple of her hanging sculptures are available for purchase at The V-Store in CPH.
